Fira de Barcelona hosts HP’s international event

This week, Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via Exhibition Centre is hosting the international corporate event of the American multinational Hewlett-Packard.  The event, called “HP Discover”, will be attended by over 10,000 professionals to share the brand’s latest technological advances and debate sector trends.
HP’s international corporate congress is providing over 800 sessions and activities with the participation of 638 speakers. The firm is making the most of the event to tackle the challenges and opportunities of the technology sector, as well as future strategies, in areas such as online data processing, cloud computing and Big Data systems.
From December 10th to 12th, the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via Exhibition Centre will be visited by the company’s CEO and President, Meg Whitman; executives from HP Spain, and various area
managers.
HP Discover, which has been held since 2011, is the main event for the company’s clients. It is held twice a year, once for America and the other for Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The American congress is held in Las Vegas. The ones for the rest of the world have been held in Frankfurt (2011), Vienna (2012) and, this year, in Barcelona.
