The present and future of the mobile at the MWC

The latest Mobile World Congress will provide the setting for debate on the present and future of this industry with an in-depth analysis of its trends. The event, which will be held from February 24th to 27th in Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via Exhibition Centre, will include a brand new conference programme: mPowered Industries
Some of the aspects that will be debated at the Mobile World Congress are, for example, the challenges of this industry, the latest technological advances, next-generation services and growth strategies. The programme also includes a series of specific sessions on topics, such as business transformation, data analysis, market development, devices, the future of communications, smart networks, mobile retail and payment, mobile identity and privacy and network economy, among others.
The exhibition area will take up 94,000 square metres in the Gran Via Exhibition Centre where over 1,700 exhibitors will showcase the latest in this technology. The previous edition of the Mobile World Congress beat all attendance records with over 72,000 visitors from 200 different countries.
mPowered Industries will analyse the interest of various sectors in mobile technology from four different areas: health, marketing and advertising, communication media and travel. More than 1,700 companies will be participating in this new proposal.
