Fira de Barcelona hosts major professional events this autumn
Once summer is over, trade fair activity will be back in full swing starting in September. Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc and Gran Via sites will be the venues for major professional events in sectors such as technology, medicine, swimming pools, denim fashions, boats and business travel.
The second-semester programme kicks off with the IoT Solutions World Congress, the first global congress on the industrial applications of the Internet of Things organized by Fira de Barcelona, and a new edition of Barcelona Degusta, the popular food festival which returns this year with Bcn&Cake, on creative cake making.
October and November will feature international shows like Piscina & Wellness Barcelona, the Barcelona Boat Show, Smart City Expo, IBTM World, the leading business tourism conference and a new edition of Denim Première Vision, the denim fashion fair.
Other major events this autumn are Pharmaprocess, the AVEPA veterinary congress, Iberzoo (pet fair), the popular Manga trade fair, Expohogar, Ocasión, Expominer, Auto Retro and the Children’s Festival, with many more.
Also noteworthy are medical and technological conferences such as meetings of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, United European Gastroenterology and the European Society for Paedriatric Endocrinology, along with those of VMWare and Microsoft.
