The most international Sónar is at Fira

Fira de Barcelona is once again the setting for Sónar, the international festival of advanced music and multimedia art that fuses technology with the latest trends. Artists from all over the world are bringing their beats to the 140 concerts in this edition, which will be held from 18th to the 20th of July in the Montjuïc and Gran Via venues.
On this occasion, the festival is strengthening its role as a meeting point between different disciplines and artistic communities from all over the world. As an international benchmark for electronic music and digital creation, Sónar will bring together artists from some thirty countries and, for the first time, all continents are represented on its poster.
This global event distributes its different recreational, musical and technological activities between the two venues of Fira de Barcelona. The Montjuïc venue will host the Sónar by Day concerts and the Sónar+D Creative Technologies Congress, which offers workshops, conferences and presentations on tackling the impact of digital transformation on artistic creation.
The Gran Via venue is hosting Sónar by Night, where the biggest international names and rhythms such as Disclosure, Bad Bunny or Underworld, among others, will play. In addition to the trade show venues, there are also activities planned within the framework of the festival in other major venues in the city, such as the Mies Van der Rohe pavilion, MACBA, the Teatre Grec and Poble Espanyol.
