The meeting for technology entrepreneurs

The third edition of the conference on entrepreneurship in mobile technologies, 4YFN (Four Years From Now), will be hosting more investors and expects to attract more visitors. Held between 22 and 25 February at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue, it takes place at the same time as the Mobile World Congress.
The event, which aims to boost innovation and help create and drive new start-up projects, brings together 500 national and international investors, twice the number of last year, mainly from Israel, Asia and France, including Index Ventures, Sandbox Partners, Maslow Capital, DT, Relay Ventures, FundersClub and Notion Capital, amongst others.
The conference is divided into three sections: ‘Founders & Investors’, a meeting point for companies and investors; ‘Pitch the Press’, the space for entrepreneurs and journalists from specialist media, and Tech.eu and Demo Days, with start-up competitions and prototype presentations.
Another highlight is the conference programme, which features top-level speakers such as the co-founder of Amazon, Rich Miner; the vice-president of Google EMEA, Nicola Mendelsohn; the executive director of Logitech, Bracken Darrell, and Jessica Delpirou, director of Meetic’s Southern Europe Hub.
4YFN, an initiative organized by Mobile World Capital Barcelona, expects to attract some 6,000 trade professionals, surpassing the numbers at last year’s edition.
