Barcelona Harley Days, the big fiesta for bikers

Barcelona Harley Days, the biggest urban meet for followers of the brand in Europe, is again taking over the Montjuïc exhibition centre in one of its most special editions. It is celebrating the 110th anniversary of its creation and the 30th birthday of the Harley Owners Group, with numerous free activities for all tastes.

The organisers are expecting 21,000 motor bikes and over a million visitors. This year’s main new features are the big anniversary fiesta with the participation of specialist “burnout” riders.

There will also be an exhibition of classic models and historic panels that show the company’s 110 year-history, as well as a life-size reproduction of the wood cabin in which the first  Harley-Davidson was built. The music programme includes concerts by 18 groups and the performance of the heavy metal singer, Rafa Blas, winner of the first TV programme “La Voz” (The Voice).

The show is also featuring traditional activities, such as trying out motorcycles, exhibitions of new models, the Country Fiesta, riding simulators, guided routes, the Custom Bike Show and the popular “Flag Parade”, on the streets of Barcelona.

Harley-Davidson, with headquarters in Milwaukee (USA), has been manufacturing motorcycles since 1903. The Harley Owners Group, present in 119 countries, currently has over a million members, 100,000 of whom are in Europe and around 9,000 in Spain.
