The real estate sector analyses its current challenges at Fira

From 16th to 19th October, Fira de Barcelona will host the Barcelona Meeting Point real estate fair. In its 23rd edition, the trade fair reinforces its congress activity with more than 50 conferences on sustainability, smart cities and new forms of housing.

In total, more than 150 experts analyse the present and future of the real estate sector focusing on innovation and new trends, such as co-working, co-living and holiday rentals. Organised by the Zona Franca Consortium, Barcelona Meeting Point expects to welcome more than 15,000 people at the Montjuïc venue.

The event brings together 50 talks dealing with aspects such as sustainability, smart cities and technology applied to real estate properties (Proptech). As a new feature, it will present the Mediterranean Real Estate talks, which highlight real estate and urban industry as the basis for the economic development of the Mediterranean region.

Barcelona Meeting Point, with nearly 300 exhibiting companies, aims to establish itself as a reference point for professionals as well as a meeting point between real estate agents and people looking for a home. For this reason, it has developed networking spaces and an app to bring together the supply and demand of flats among visitors to the event.
