Sport Woman, a fair devoted to women, health and sport
Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue will once again host Sport Woman Barcelona, the fair devoted to women, health and sport, from 15th to 16th November. The latest products of the main sporting brands will be showcased and there will be classes to enable attendees to get in shape.
In addition to the exhibition area, Sport Woman is hosting sessions focusing on different fitness disciplines and Les Mills programmes, as well as back and abdominal workshops, corrective exercises and training in fitball and healthy lifestyles.
The fair, organised by Sportlife Magazine, is the prelude to the Women’s Race, the largest female sporting event in Europe, to be held in Barcelona on Sunday 17 November with the participation of 36,000 runners. The route of the open race covers 7.8 kilometres and starts from Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc site.
The race, which is also taking place in seven other cities, aims to promote sport for women and contributes to the fight against breast cancer. More than €1,000,000 have been donated to the Spanish Cancer Association (AECC) since 2004.
