Co-organisers of the Middle East's key jewellery and watches show
Fira at Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition
For the third time, along with the Qatar Tourism Authority and event management firm Elan Events, Fira de Barcelona is co-organising the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE), a benchmark show for the jewellery industry, precious gems and watches in the Middle East. It will take place until 27 February in the Doha Convention Centre.
At this edition, 500 brands from 27 countries will come together to showcase luxury pieces created by the world’s top specialists. The show is expected to receive 30,000 visitors.
Fira de Barcelona’s collaboration in the DJWE is part of the institution’s international business strategy, which includes organising events and activities in other countries as well as promoting the presence of Spanish companies abroad, providing services to other venues and consulting on facility management.
In addition to the Jewellery and Watches Exhibition, Fira was recently joint organiser with Elan Events of the Qatar Motor Show and is set to take part in further shows in the sectors of multimedia, cosmetics, children’s products and luxury goods. Fira is also involved in the management of the new Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
