The show organized by Fira de Barcelona features some 70 speakers
The future of the pharmaceutical sector on debate at PharmaProcess
On 27 and 28 October, the Montjuïc Exhibition Centre plays host to the second edition of the PharmaProcess Forum, the international meeting for the pharmaceutical industry. The event comprises a trade show area and a programme of conferences featuring almost 70 speakers.
PharmaProcess tackles issues such as personalized medicines for cancer treatment, the fight against the sale of counterfeit medicines, the regulatory framework for manufacturing and commercializing medicines, and the latest trends in the design of manufacturing plants.
Some of the respected experts speaking at the event include Dr Manel Esteller, the director of Cancer Epigenetics and Biology at the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute, and Belén Escribano, the head of the Department of Medicine Inspection and Control at the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices.
The trade show area will also be showcasing new equipment for pharmaceutical processes.
