Fira hosts the Conference of the Spanish Rheumatology Society

Over 1,000 experts will be gathering at the 42nd edition of the Spanish Rheumatology Society Conference between 18 and 21 May at Fira de Barcelona’ Montjuïc Exhibition Centre. The meeting will discuss the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of the more than 250 rheumatic diseases currently known, which affect almost 11 million Spanish citizens.
The conference offers a comprehensive scientific programme featuring round tables, symposiums, workshops and meetings to analyse the new research projects geared towards detecting and treating the disease and improving patients’ quality of life.
Every sphere of this specialist area will be explored: from nuclear pathologies (rheumatoid arthritis, systemic autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis, arthrosis, etc.) to fibromyalgia and musculoskeletal infections. There will also be sessions on issues relating to management, pharmaceuticals and paediatric rheumatology.
