Seeking to generate synergies and boosting economic reactivation
BBConstrumat and Piscina & Wellness Barcelona will be held together in 2021
Barcelona Building Construmat and Piscina & Wellness Barcelona will take place simultaneously from 29 November to 2 December 2021 at the Gran Via venue with the aim of contributing to the recovery of two fundamental sectors for the economy. Organised by Fira de Barcelona, these two trade shows join forces to provide greater added value to their offer on a platform providing a service to both the construction and swimming pool and wellness industries.
Both events will be held in a hybrid format, with a face-to-face fair complemented by a virtual one, in an initiative that demonstrates Fira de Barcelona’s desire to help reactivate the economy.
With this joint event, BBConstrumat and Piscina & Wellness Barcelona will be able to increase the number of business opportunities that can be established at the shows by reaching a wider potential professional audience, ranging from constructors and installers to managers of hotels, sports facilities, campsites and water parks, as well as architects, interior designers, landscapers and engineers.
In this regard, BBConstrumat is currently in talks with other event organisers to incorporate them into its offer with the aim of setting up a large multi-sector platform for 2021.
In addition to bringing together a wide range of commercial offers, these events will also have their own programme of activities. Thus, BBConstrumat will once again focus on sustainability, process industrialisation and digitalisation and it will be structured around the themed spaces of BBC Exhibition, BBC Talks, BBC Meetings and TechEstate. Meanwhile, Piscina & Wellness Barcelona, the most international show of its kind in Europe, will showcase the best initiatives, experiences and solutions in its Wellness Experience spaces, the Innovation Zone and with the Piscina & Wellness Awards. Additionally, it will promote debate within the sector through its Professional Conferences, among other activities.
The President of BBConstrumat, Ana Vallés, states that “with the joint celebration of the show with Piscina & Wellness Barcelona and the incorporation of other sectorial events, we are defining the next BBConstrumat event as one on a cross-cutting platform that offers an attractive and quality offer to all professionals linked to the construction sector, committing to sustainability, industrialisation and digitalisation as the main pillars of the economic reactivation of the sector.”
Similarly, the President of Piscina & Wellness Barcelona, Eloi Planes, considers that “this double trade show event represents a differential aspect and one of high added value compared to other events of the same speciality, generating important synergies when it comes to attracting new professional profiles interested in finding out about construction solutions and possibilities for equipping aquatic facilities for both residential use as well as for public use in areas such as sports, tourism and health and leisure.” Planes points out that “the hybrid and interactive format for arranging business meetings will increase the potential of each individual show to reach a wider audience, especially internationally.”
At this year’s event, as has been the case for the last few years, BBConstrumat and Piscina & Wellness Barcelona will continue in their firm commitment to innovation and sustainability as the cornerstones of development not only with regards their contents but also in their respective sectors.
