International shows kick off 2014

Fira de Barcelona is starting the first quarter of the year by hosting important international shows, such as Mobile World Congress, Alimentaria and also Passenger Terminal Expo, the leading event for the airport and airline industries.
Activity kicks off from January 17th to 19th with Expohogar Primavera, which is a must for small and medium-size retailers to discover the latest in gift articles, decoration, costume jewellery and fashion accessories for the spring-summer 2014 season. Next up will be Mobile World Congress from February 24th to 27th in Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via Exhibition Centre, which expects an audience of over 72,000 visitors.
Trade fair activity during the first quarter of the year will be concentrated mainly in March with shows from different sectors, such as Cosmobelleza (March 8th to 10th), EWEA (Europe’s Premier Wind Energy Event) (10th to 12th), E-SHOW (World E-Commerce Congress and Exhibition, on the 12th and 13th), Ensenyament (12th-15th), Futura (14th and 15th), Passenger Terminal Expo (25th-27th) and Alimentaria (march 31st to April 3rd).
