The more than 460 expected brands will turn Barcelona into the international epicenter of bridal fashion
New brands and global markets shape the future of bridal and red-carpet fashion at BBFW 2026
Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) 2026, organized by Fira de Barcelona, will hold its most international edition to date from 22 to 26 April, strengthening its position as the world’s leading showcase for bridal fashion. The trade show will bring together 460 brands, 86% of them international – from more than 30 countries – offering a unique platform where creativity, innovation and business converge to shape the future of bridal, occasionwear and red-carpet fashion.
Just a few months ahead of its opening, the event has already booked 92% of its exhibition space. International brands now account for 86% of the total offer—four percentage points more than in 2025—further consolidating the show’s global dimension. Within this context, BBFW will feature some of the most iconic and refined maisons in Haute Couture and international design.
British elegance will be represented by brands such as Caroline Castigliano, Romantica, Sassi Holford and Josephine Scott, alongside renowned accessories specialist Halo & Co. The United States will boast strong commercial presence and stylistic diversity through labels including Justin Alexander, Maggie Sottero, Morilee, Allure, the Mon Chéri Group and Honor NYC. They will be joined by distinctive proposals such as Marylise, Rembo Styling and Carta Branca from Belgium, as well as Trish Peng from New Zealand.
This edition sees Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week strengthening its strategic focus on Asian markets, a key territory with enormous potential both in terms of demand and creative output. The participation of high-end brands such as The Atelier by Prof. Jimmy Choo (Malaysia), Vaishali Studio (India), Wang Feng (China), Joli Poli (Vietnam), Serina and Sachiko Tsutsui (Japan), among others, creates a rich creative mosaic that enhances the show’s global reach. In addition, BBFW will host a dedicated networking day bringing together Asian designers and buyers, and international professionals, boosting business opportunities and fostering artistic and cultural exchange between Asia and the rest of the world.
Local roots, international projection
Excellence in Spanish fashion will be one of key themes of the upcoming edition. Brands such as Yolancris, Isabel Sanchís, Sophie et Voilá, Cortana, The 2nd Skin Co., Marco & María, and Claro Couture, the label of renowned Spanish designer Fernando Claro who will take part in BBFW for the first time, will symbolize the strength, quality and creativity of bridal design made in Spain.
Along the same lines, Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week strengthens its commitment to local talent through the Barcelona Edit area, bring together Catalan brands such as Mariano Moreno, Francesca Marlop, Claymoss and Kingvell Barcelona, among others, providing them with visibility within an environment designed to boost sales. Designers including Immaclé, Andrea Lalanza and Marta Martí will also take part in BBFW 2026, further underlining the event’s dedication to local talent and its role as a platform for promoting Catalan design on the international stage.
“Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is much more than a fair: it’s an event that bridges cultures, styles and markets. Our mission is to provide brands with a platform that enhances their global visibility while projecting Spanish creativity to the world. In 2026, Barcelona will once again become the global epicenter of bridal fashion,” says Albasarí Caro, Director of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week.
A stage for Haute Couture
The presence of Haute Couture houses will once again be one of the defining pillars of the edition, reinforcing BBFW’s commitment to excellence. The French couturier Stéphane Rolland will headline the Barcelona Bridal Night, the show’s gala celebrating its tenth edition on Wednesday, 22 April, and will present his collection in the exclusive Showroom Area of the trade show, which will bring together Haute Couture houses and premium brands from some of the world’s leading fashion hubs.
Within this framework, the Lebanese school—an undisputed reference for luxury and craftsmanship in bridal and eveningwear—will be represented by Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad and Tony Ward. From Italy, Antonio Riva and Peter Langner will contribute the sophistication and rigor of Milanese tradition; the Netherlands will be represented by Viktor & Rolf, renowned for its conceptual and creative approach, while the United Kingdom will add the classic yet contemporary elegance of Jenny Packham.
Completing this international panorama is Rami Al Ali, a Damascus-born designer based in Dubai, who in 2025 became the first Syrian couturier to be included in the official calendar of Paris Haute Couture Week (FHCM), further enhancing the cultural and creative diversity of the space.
An international business platform
BBFW 2026 continues to enhance its position as a strategic platform for the internationalization of the industry, gathering buyers from over 80 countries. The event stands as a key meeting point for brands and professionals seeking to strengthen their presence in the most dynamic markets, consolidating Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week’s role as a global benchmark for bridal fashion and a catalyst of real business opportunities.
The event will be held in Halls 1, 2 and 8 of Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue. Runway shows by more than 40 designers will take place from 22 to 25 April, while the trade show will run from 24 to 26 April, further strengthening the event’s focus on special occasion collections and red-carpet designs.
