The runway will showcase around 900 creations
BBFW unveils the fashion shows shaping bridal and eveningwear in 2027
Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) will present the most extensive showcase of bridal and occasion wear on the international circuit this year. The event will bring together leading haute couture houses, established firms, emerging designers and fast-growing brands, in an edition that highlights stylistic diversity and the industry’s international reach, further cementing Barcelona’s status as an international fashion capital for life’s most special occasions.
From the 22nd to the 24th of April, Hall 8 at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue will host runway shows featuring around 900 gowns for the 2027 season, created by more than 30 designers. Showcasing a rich range of styles, cultural influences and creative approaches, the runway continues to strengthen its role as a strategic platform for business, inspiration and global visibility within the bridal and red-carpet fashion landscape.
Spanish labels Yolancris, Isabel Sanchis, Marco & María, Amarca and By Loleiro will share the calendar with international brands from the United States, including Justin Alexander and Allure Bridals; from Western Europe, such as Diane Legrand, Sima Couture or Demetrios, as well as Eastern European houses like Julia Kontogruni, Ricca Sposa & Yuliia Lobachóva Couture, and, for the first time, long-standing brand Oksana Mukha.
The program will also spotlight a dynamic wave of Asian talent, with a strong presence from labels such as Wang Feng (Shanghai), The Atelier by Prof. Jimmy Choo (Malaysia), Serina and Kiyoko Hata (Japan), Vaishali Studio (India), and Joli Poli (Vietnam), reflecting the dynamism and growing influence of this market on the international bridal scene. Joining them are Katy Corso (Ukraine) and the comeback of creator Peter Langner (Italy), who will also be featured in the showroom area.
In addition, The Edit will host three shared runway shows spotlighting highly personal creative visions within the sector. Barcelona designers, including Immaclé, Mariano Moreno, Andrea Lalanza and Olga Maciá, as well as other names such as Helena, Raquel López, Candelas y Felipas, Unbridled Studio, and Maria Pia will unveil collections that celebrate craftsmanship and bespoke design.
According to Albasarí Caro, Director of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week: “BBFW 2026 reflects the remarkable vitality currently shaping bridal fashion and our commitment to supporting talent, internationalization and innovation. This edition brings together a wide range of aesthetics that positions Barcelona as a strategic hub for the development and global reach of the industry”.
Tenth anniversary of Barcelona Bridal Night
One of the most eagerly anticipated moments will be the tenth edition of Barcelona Bridal Night, which will host, on the 22nd of April, the first runway show in Spain by Stéphane Rolland, one of the leading names in international haute couture.
Through the collaboration between the couturier, BBFW and Barcelona-based schools IED, LCI and ESDI, more than twenty students will open Stéphane Rolland’s fashion show, showcasing their own designs. The initiative aims to support emerging talent and boost the international visibility of the next generation of creative voices from the Catalan capital.
A global industry benchmark
Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week stands as the leading international event dedicated to bridalwear, occasion wear, red-carpet fashion and accessories. Organized by Fira de Barcelona, the event brings together designers, brands, buyers and key professionals from the global bridal and eveningwear industry every year.
The runway shows will open the 2026 edition of BBFW on the 22nd of April, while the trade show will run from the 24th to 26th of April to showcase the collections of more than 400 brands (86% international) from over 30 countries. During these days, Barcelona will once again become a key meeting point for business, inspiration and the global reach of this industry.
