Tomorrow.City USA explores an urban future that is shaping our present

On April 14 and 15, the city of West Palm Beach, Florida, will host Tomorrow.City USA. Under the slogan “The future is now,” the event is expected to attract around 3,000 attendees, with a programme featuring more than 100 speakers and an exhibition area showcasing leading companies and institutions in urban innovation.

Organised by Fira de Barcelona, Tomorrow.City USA (TMRWUSA) takes over from the four editions of Smart City Expo so far held in the United States. Bringing together key players from both the business community and public administrations, the event provides an ideal setting to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors in the United States, promoting partnerships and new business opportunities in the field of urban futures.

In its congress programme, TMRWUSA features presentations structured around nine thematic areas: cutting-edge technologies; infrastructure; sports; talent and culture; security and GovTech; clean energy and resilience; transportation; health and wellness; and finance.

To showcase these themes, the event will bring together more than 100 speakers, including Henry Mack, Assistant Secretary of Labor of the United States; Stephen Ross, owner of the Miami Dolphins; Vivek Ranadivé, entrepreneur and chairman of the Sacramento Kings; Andre Dickens, Mayor of Atlanta; and Keith James, Mayor of West Palm Beach.

Startup City Pitch Competition

TMRWUSA will feature an exhibition area where companies and institutions will showcase their latest projects and solutions in the field of urban innovation. Exhibitors include Cisco, Dell Technologies, the Knight Foundation, the City of West Palm Beach, and the United States Department of State.

The event will also host the Startup City Pitch Competition. Promoted in collaboration with VentureFuel, this initiative will bring together global startups redefining the future of cities. Participants will have the opportunity to briefly present their projects to a jury, competing for funding, visibility, and strategic support. The winning startup will receive a USD 25,000 investment, as well as access to potential pilot projects and strategic partners.
