The Barcelona Boat Show 2026 gathers its largest fleet, new areas and sea experiences
The Barcelona International Boat Show will return to Barcelona’s Port Vell in October with an edition that will bring together the widest selection of boats of all lengths, showcased by leading national and international companies. The event will expand its offering with new areas dedicated to marinas, diving and water sports, as well as an on-water trials zone, with the aim of presenting the most comprehensive range in the sector and delivering a unique visitor experience.
Organised by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), the Boat Show will once again present from 14 to 18 October the main innovations of the nautical industry, from the latest models of sports boats to a large exhibition of motor yachts, sailboats and catamarans of all lengths, reinforcing its position as the great commercial and outreach showcase of Spanish and Southern European boating.
In this year’s edition, the event will spread across three piers in Port Vell, distributing its offer according by boat type. The Moll de la Fusta pier will once again host major motor yachts brands afloat, alongside the sports boat and equipment sector, while the España and Marina Port Vell piers will serve as mooring points for sailboats and catamarans, as well as hosting the event’s Village.
Likewise, this year the show will feature a new exhibition and in-water testing area, designed to allow potential buyers and visitors to experience the vessels first-hand, test them under way, and assess their performance, handling and seaworthiness, thereby enhancing a more direct, realistic and purchase-oriented experience.
The President of the Barcelona international Boat Show, Luis Conde, said: “We are preparing and starting the marketing of an edition that will once again demonstrate why we are the key event in the industry, an essential meeting point to bring together companies and buyers with the aim of boosting sales in the final stretch of the year.”
The General Director of ANEN, Jordi Carrasco, stated: “We are confident that the Barcelona Boat Show will strengthen its role in 2026, focusing on the current needs of companies: greater sales momentum and attraction of buyers. At ANEN, we believe that this new edition will establish itself as an effective platform to boost business, generate opportunities and strengthen the positioning of recreational boating both nationally and internationally.”
Along these lines, the Director of the event, Josep Antoni Llopart, said that “the Show continues to evolve to adapt and meet the needs of buyers and fans through new itineraries on offer and tailored experiences, which is why we have incorporated more content to make the visit more attractive and useful.”
New areas for Nautical Leisure
In this sense, a new feature of the upcoming edition will be the inclusion of sectors linked to nautical leisure to complement its offering within the recreational boating segment.
To make this possible, the event will debut a new covered pavilion on the Moll de la Fusta pier, integrating two new thematic areas: Marinas & Harbour Facilities, aimed at promoting marinas as key infrastructures for the nautical sector and maritime tourism, and Diving, Shopping & Water Sports, focused on promoting diving, water sports and the nautical lifestyle, bringing these disciplines closer to both professionals and enthusiasts.
The Boat Show’s offering will also include a professional agenda focused on innovation and sustainability, with the participation of experts and key stakeholders from the sector.
