May 2026, a new must-attend event for agents in the padel business
Padel World Summit returns to Barcelona to connect the sport’s industry
While Barcelona celebrates the Premier Padel Finals with the best athletes of the moment, Padel World Summit (PWS) is preparing its 2026 edition. From 26 to 28 May, it will bring together manufacturers, operators, distributors and investors to define the trends and opportunities of a sector in international expansion. Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue will host more than 150 brands, activation areas and courts for exhibitions and demonstrations, as well as a conference program for industry leaders and business executives.
Under the slogan ‘Where the future of global padel is decided’, PWS 2026 will consolidate its role as an international trade platform for professionals in the sport, bringing together all the key players driving the padel business including brands, manufacturers, distributors, clubs, investors, institutions, startups and global operators.
Padel World Summit, jointly organised by Fira de Barcelona and the International Padel Cluster, will feature a large exhibition area and ten courts (two more than in 2025), the Play Arena, hosting product presentations, exhibition matches, and all kinds of brand activations.
The organization expects to have more than 150 exhibitors, who will present the latest developments in the sector from items such as rackets, balls, textiles and footwear to club and court management software, court construction, components, materials, as well as maintenance and management services. In this sense, the show has already confirmed participation from leading companies and brands, including Mejorset, Babolat, Playtomic, Skechers, Mondo, Ingode, Joma, Lusotendas, Endless, Padel Galis and Padelgest.
The director of PWS, Álex Ponseti, said that “we are designing an edition that strengthens our position as the most influential professional meeting point in padel, where decision-makers, investors, and leading brands come together to create business opportunities in a unique setting. We aim to take the sport further and become a driving force for industry transformation, combining business, technology, innovation, and global expansion.”
Next Padel, future, business and innovation
In this sense, the event’s agenda includes the Global Padel Conference, a congress that, with the title ‘Next Padel’, will be structured around six thematic pillars to address issues ranging from the international expansion of this sport to the application of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, through business models, collaboration between all the agents in the sector, the improvement of training and professionalization or the emotional power of padel as an experience.
In addition, PWS will promote business opportunities for all professionals in a sport that has great economic potential in a networking area. To strengthen its international reach, which was already 40% in 2025, it will launch a series of international promotional initiatives with a focus on countries such as France, Italy, Mexico, Chile and Southeast Asia, where padel continues to attract new players. The event will also have a startup area, the Innovation Arena, to foster innovation and open collaboration across the professional padel ecosystem.
The Premier Padel Finals currently taking place in Barcelona reinforces the growing interest generated by this sport and puts the city in the spotlight. Padel World Summit will continue this momentum by bringing together, in May, the main agents of the industry to analyse, share, and shape the future of the sector from a professional and business perspective, in a sport that already counts over 30 million amateur players worldwide.
