With a total of 5.838 attendees, 40% International
The Padel World Summit wins set and match in its debut in Barcelona
The Padel World Summit (PWS) closes its first edition in Barcelona today after bringing together a total of 5,838 attendees at the Gran Via venue, a few hours before its closing, establishing itself as the great trade fair event for padel professionals. The event has had an outstanding national and international participation and the presence of 120 exhibiting companies from 22 countries, as well as a hundred speakers.
Jointly organised by Fira de Barcelona and the International Padel Cluster, the PWS has given new momentum to the business opportunities in this rapidly growing sport. Over three days, numerous commercial deals were made, connecting brands specializing in padel equipment and court manufacturing with industry professionals and sports facility managers.
It should be noted that 40% of the attendees have been international, coming from 80 countries, with a large presence of British, French, Dutch, Italian, German, and American participants.
Show director Àlex Ponseti stated, “Our commitment to organizing the PWS in Barcelona has been a complete success. This edition marks a qualitative leap in both the commercial offerings and the congress program, setting the roadmap for the present and future of our sport.”
Mireia Álvarez, president of the International Padel Cluster and the event’s Advisory Committee, added, “We are delighted with the success of an edition that has generated great interest among padel professionals worldwide. This sport’s growth seems limitless and offers countless market opportunities.”
Padel Activities and Challenges in the Spotlight
PWS 2025 was marked by its dynamism, as exhibitors showcased their latest products and services—rackets, apparel, footwear, playing surfaces, and panoramic courts. Highlights included Babolat’s 150th anniversary, the unveiling of new AFP and Greenset courts, and activations by brands such as Euronix, Padel Nuestro, Padel Alba, Head, Joma, MejorSet, Mondo, Munich, Pórtico, Padel Galis and Playtomic, among others. Eight courts in Hall 6 of Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue hosted many of these activities.
The event also featured a robust congress program, the Padel Global Conference, with top experts such as Fernando Belasteguín, considered the best padel player in history; Sebastian Gordon, co-founder of Rocket Padel; Gabriel Pérez Krieb, president of Taktika Equity and Ana Gómez, marketing director at AFP Group.
The Innovation Arena, with 20 startups and several presentations, was another highlight, as was the Investor & Business Forum, which hosted over 275 business meetings.
Padel World Summit returns 26–28 May 2026 at Fira de Barcelona.
