The Gran Via venue hosts the 38th edition of IBTM World
Barcelona, the world’s epicentre of business tourism
From November 18 to 20, the Gran Via venue will host a new edition of IBTM World, the global leading event for the business travel, meetings and incentives industry. With more than 2,350 businesses and under the slogan “People. Power. Potential.”, this 38th edition includes around a hundred conferences on leadership, well-being and digital skills, as well as spaces dedicated to technology and sustainability.
IBTM World 2025 is expected to bring together more than 12,000 visitors and a wide range of international exhibitors, including travel agencies, tourist destinations and, notably this year, an increased presence of hotel chains. It will also connect industry leaders and key figures through its business meetings programme.
With innovation at its core, “The Future Stage” will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming events while highlighting the importance of preserving the human touch that makes them unique.
One of this year’s major highlights is “IBTM Ignite”, a space offering more than 100 start-ups to showcase their ideas. The “Exceptional Experiences” program also returns featuring renowned speakers who will reinforce an edition focused on creativity, sustainability, technology and the human factor.
