Graphispag 2027 to showcase solutions for more competitive printing

Graphispag 2027 is preparing a renewed edition with greater emphasis on technology and innovation aimed at improving printing efficiency and competitiveness. From 4 to 7 May 2027, and strategically coinciding with Hispack, the Spanish trade show will present equipment, production processes and applications designed to support investment decisions and open new business opportunities in the graphic arts industry and across other sectors that rely on printing.

Next year, Graphispag will reinforce its industrial focus to connect with fields where printing is essential, especially packaging and labels—two of the fastest-growing graphic specialties. It will also strengthen its presence in areas such as editorial production, large format and commercial printing, while adding other industries where printing provides significant added value. The event that celebrates 60 years of history is expected to occupy Hall 1 of the Gran Via venue, bringing together more than one hundred exhibitors and welcoming over 11,000 visitors.

Its commercial offering will include manufacturers and distributors of printing equipment (offset, digital, flexo, industrial inkjet, large format, screen printing, functional printing), suppliers of inks, materials and substrates, machinery for converting and finishing, software developers, and companies offering advanced graphic services. “For all of them, Graphispag provides a real decision-making environment, access to print-intensive sectors, and the opportunity to position themselves as partners in productivity, profitability and industrial transformation,” says Joan Casas, Chair of the Organising Committee.

On the demand side, Graphispag 2027 will attract graphic services companies and visual communication specialists, commercial and industrial printers, converters and packaging manufacturers, brands, retailers, advertising agencies, designers, sign makers, editorial production managers, and marketing, procurement and innovation teams, among many others. These professionals will find solutions to reduce costs, diversify services and develop higher-value, customisable and scalable printed products. “Our aim is to offer a space where visitors can compare and validate technological investments for printing processes under criteria of efficiency, performance and sustainability, and discover the new graphic products that can be achieved,” adds Joan Casas.

Expanded synergies

Graphispag 2027 will be directly connected to Hispack, the leading packaging, process and logistics trade show in Spani, which will occupy Halls 2 and 3 of the exhibition centre. There, visitors will find complementary proposals related to converting and materials, labelling, coding and marking, packaging and POS printing, converting and finishing, as well as process automation and digitalisation. Together, both events will feature one thousand exhibitors and expect to attract 37,000 visitors.

This joint staging will allow visitors to explore the entire packaging value chain—from materials and structures to printing, labelling and logistics preparation. In this sense, Graphispag will propose an integrated view of printing as part of the packaging production process, supporting design, traceability and regulatory compliance.

Beyond its focus on the graphic arts industry, visual communication and packaging, Graphispag 2027 will also present solutions aimed at other sectors that use printing as a key resource in their creative, production or commercial processes. Particularly notable examples include textiles, promotional merchandise, advertising, furniture and interior design, and retail—fields where printing enables personalised products, short runs, prototypes and high value-added applications. The show will also highlight advanced printing technologies that combine functional materials and digital processes to produce interactive surfaces, printed components and smart industrial products.

Topics shaping the future of the graphic industry

To complement the exhibition offering, Graphispag 2027 will include a programme of conferences and debates focused on the immediate challenges facing the graphic arts sector. Speakers will analyse how cyclical demand, the need for selective investments and pressure on margins require clearly demonstrating the efficiency and profitability of each technology. Other discussions will examine the full digitalisation of processes, connectivity between equipment and data, the incorporation of artificial intelligence and the adoption of value-driven business models.

In terms of sustainability, the programme will review European requirements calling for measurable evidence in substrates, consumables and printing processes. It will also explore how to introduce more intuitive digital solutions in response to the shortage of specialised technical personnel. Additional topics will delve into trends such as short runs, personalisation, higher production speeds, hybrid workflows and after-sales services linked to machine lifecycle management.

The event will also host demonstrations, commercial presentations and business meetings, as well as a dedicated networking area to encourage the exchange of information and experiences. In addition, Graphispag will welcome technical seminars, congresses, meetings and assemblies organised by industry associations and professional bodies linked to the graphic arts and visual communication sectors.

Graphispag 2027 is supported by more than 60 organisations connected to the printing industry, which endorse the event’s mission to deliver an edition fully aligned with the real needs of the market. These organisations help shape a useful, representative trade show for companies and professionals in graphic services, commercial and industrial printing, and, more broadly, for all sectors and businesses that rely on graphic solutions and technologies.
