The Fira show reinforces its role as a strategic event for the construction sector
Leading companies collaborate to boost Construmat’s leadership in the sector
With the aim of consolidating its relaunch as the most transversal event in the Mediterranean in the construction sector, the managing directors of Cosentino, Deceuninck, Evowall, Fischer, Greco Gres, Jung, Mapei and Molins have joined the new committee of leaders of Construmat, which the Fira de Barcelona construction fair has recently set up to design its next edition. which will take place from 18 to 20 May 2027 at the Gran Via venue.
The Construmat leadership committee acts as a strategic driver, contributing its in-depth knowledge of the market from the offer with the aim of offering its experience so that the show grows exponentially in terms of exhibition offer and becomes the event in which all companies with new products or innovations are present.
This working committee is made up of:
Andreas Fleischhauer, general manager in Spain of Mapei; Ángel Barragán, manager of Jung E. Ibérica; Antonio Domínguez Villardón, Director of Projects and Prescription at Deceuninck; Eduardo Martínez, vice president of sales in Iberia at Cosentino; Eloi Tarrés, CEO of Evowall Technology; José Luis Massana, general manager of Fischer Ibérica; Marina Juárez, director of business development of Grupo Greco Gres; Roger Bou, director of Construmat; Salvador Fernández, executive vice president of cement and concrete in Spain and Mexico at Molins; and Xavier Vilajoana, president of Construmat and APCEspaña.
“Construmat is an event of the sector and for the sector. The creation of this advisory committee demonstrates the involvement and closeness of the industry from all over the country to this event and reinforces our commitment to offer a useful event with a real impact on the sector. We want Construmat to be the space where industry can find new materials and construction systems, where professionals are trained and where valuable contacts are made,” says Xavier Vilajoana, president of the show.
With more than half of the exhibition space already contracted, and more than a year before its celebration, Construmat will need to expand its surface area, occupying two pavilions of the Gran Via venue to meet the need of the market.
At the moment, it has already occupied 60% of its commercial area and the confirmed participation of leading companies such as Alsina, Ceranor, Cosentino, Deceuninck, Evowall, Exlabesa, Fischer, Greco Gres, Indalsu, Jung, K-Line, PMP, Roca, Technal or Saltoki. In addition, it has the support of more than 160 collaborating entities such as APCE, CNC, CSCAE or CGATE.
In this way, Construmat returns strongly, reaffirming its status as a benchmark and strategic event for the construction sector in Spain and the Mediterranean arc.
