In October, the event will deliver practical knowledge to help businesses grow
Bizbarcelona 2025 workshops show how to integrate AI into everyday business management
Bizbarcelona is finalizing a program of 150 activities combining knowledge and hands-on experience to drive business growth. Among the highlights are nearly 40 interactive workshops where leading experts will share tools, strategies, and success stories in key areas for companies — from integrating artificial intelligence to adopting new management and innovation methodologies. These workshops, along with conferences, networking sessions, and free one-to-one mentoring, strengthen the practical orientation of an event designed to provide concrete solutions to the challenges faced by SMEs, small retailers, and self-employed professionals.
Organized by Fira de Barcelona and promoted by Barcelona City Council through Barcelona Activa, PIMEC, Diputació de Barcelona, the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Bizbarcelona 2025 will take place on October 15 and 16 at Hall 8 of the Montjuïc venue.
The Bizbarcelona workshops address very specific concerns of attendees, such as lack of time, the need to improve team performance and strengthen leadership, finding better ways to connect with customers, or uncertainty about digitalization and the use of AI. They also focus on adapting to new legal and social requirements without losing competitiveness, as well as on accessing finance and exploring new avenues for growth. Designed in small-group formats, the workshops offer a practical approach to help participants move forward with greater confidence and efficiency in their projects.
This year, more than 25% of the workshops will focus on incorporating artificial intelligence into daily business management, showing how to automate tasks, analyze data, and optimize processes in simple, immediately applicable ways. This approach will allow participants to discover innovative tools that boost productivity and support decision-making in an increasingly digital environment. In addition, other workshops will cover areas such as digital marketing, social media, e-invoicing, brand protection, financial planning, leadership development, and stress or workplace burnout management. Networking, mentoring, and conferences
In parallel, Bizbarcelona will once again foster professional connections through around ten networking activities designed to generate concrete collaborations. These include sessions focused on relationship marketing to enhance the quality of professional contacts; spaces to create cross-sector partnerships; dynamics that encourage emotional and personal connection in a digital environment; and activities that promote inclusion and diversity as drivers of business collaboration. The Official Association of Commercial Agents of Barcelona (COACB), the Intercollegiate Association, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, and PIMEC are some of the organizations behind these initiatives.
The event will also feature a personalized advisory space with more than 50 experts offering tailored guidance to help entrepreneurs develop new business ideas or strengthen existing projects. The advisory sessions will cover key areas such as communication and marketing, legal issues, e-commerce, logistics and distribution, social and solidarity economy, financing, internationalization, and sustainability. This free service can already be booked online through the event’s website.
All these activities complement Bizbarcelona 2025’s flagship offering: an extensive program of more than 100 conferences where professionals and specialists will share knowledge, trends, and inspiring success stories. Topics will include digital transformation, management and strategy, marketing and sales, sustainability, regulatory and legal updates, and financing and funding opportunities.
In addition, Bizbarcelona will expand its exhibition area with around 80 companies and organizations presenting their products and services. This broad offering further consolidates the event as a benchmark meeting point for SMEs, small retailers, and self-employed professionals in Catalonia. Visitors can already register for the event at www.bizbarcelona.com.
Joint celebration with the Saló de l’Ocupació
With separate entrances and content, Bizbarcelona will once again be held alongside the Saló de l’Ocupació. This parallel event, which focuses on improving employability and access to job opportunities, will transform the venue into a major showcase of ideas and solutions for business growth and labor market development over two days.
