Bizbarcelona: 100 Conferences with 170 Speakers to Boost Businesses
Bizbarcelona invites everyone leading a business who wants to rethink how they work and grow to take part in its 160 activities. The highlight of the program will be a hundred conferences and talks delivered by 170 speakers, addressing the everyday challenges faced by SMEs, retailers, and self-employed professionals, with a special focus on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, leadership, sustainability, and business strategy.
Taking place on October 15–16 at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona, Bizbarcelona presents the perfect opportunity for SMEs, self-employed professionals, retailers, and small businesses to discover fresh ideas and strategies that can give their business a renewed boost. To this end, this year the event will feature a wide range of presentations in which experts from various fields will share success formulas, new tools, processes, and inspiring best practices.
The program combines a strategic, big-picture perspective on topics like leadership and team management with a hands-on approach addressing the daily challenges of running a business. This mix, approached in a practical way, aims to give attendees key insights to create or refine their roadmaps, ensuring sustainable and continuous growth for their projects.
Integrating Technology
Specifically, the conferences will cover topics such as digital business transformation, with a particular emphasis on integrating artificial intelligence into company operations to automate processes. Bizbarcelona will also host sessions on attracting and incorporating specialized talent in new technologies.
Beyond technology, the event will also tackle business management concerns, including strategy, sales, communication, and finance. The program includes presentations on mergers and acquisitions, brand reputation, commercial excellence, marketing and social media, and SME support resources, highlighting both available financial aid and practical tools.
These sessions will be led by top-tier professionals, including Jordi Urbea, Vice President and CEO of Ogilvy; Mónica Mendoza, expert in commercial strategy, emotional intelligence, and client acquisition; Laura Sallent, specialist in female leadership; Jordi Reche, non-verbal communication consultant; Juanita Acevedo, personal branding expert; Alba Guzmán, digital transformation consultant; Ramon Montanera, social media expert; Selva Orejón, cybersecurity and digital reputation specialist; Daniel Resnich, branding and creativity expert; Joan Riera, mentor for start-ups; and David Millet, marketing expert.
Workshops, Networking, and Individual Consulting
Bizbarcelona will complement its program with 45 highly practical workshops aligned with the conference topics, covering areas critical to everyday business, such as maximizing team performance, strengthening leadership, improving client communication, and managing uncertainty in digitalization. In parallel, the event will again promote professional networking through a series of ten activities, and it will feature a dedicated consulting area with over 50 experts who will analyze individual cases and propose strategies to help develop new business ideas or scale existing projects.
Finally, Bizbarcelona will expand its exhibition space with around 75 companies and organizations presenting their products and services to promote the local business ecosystem. Altogether, this offering cements the event as a key reference point for SMEs, small retailers, and self-employed professionals in Catalonia.
Coinciding with the Employment Fair
Organized by Fira de Barcelona and promoted by the Barcelona City Council through Barcelona Activa, the Diputació de Barcelona, PIMEC, and the Chamber of Commerce, Bizbarcelona 2025 will take place on October 15–16 at Hall 8 of the Montjuïc fairgrounds.
Although tickets and content are independent, this year the event again coincides with Saló de l’Ocupació. Focused on improving employability and access to job opportunities, this fair will turn the venue into a two-day showcase of ideas and solutions for business growth and labor market dynamism.
